You're all great!

Ok! Confidence to get these moving. I expect ready to ship/sell in ~month. I will be doing the 3mm hex based on feedback here. Colors still tbd but I'll offer a range.

As far a purchasing and such I don't want to ask for any pre-commit now so I'll take on the production costs upfront. I don't like the idea of having peoples money in case things go wrong or take more time.

I will update this thread with progress images as well as payment details as things go along. I have a few other machining projects so I might start a builder/vendor thread since that sounds fun.

I think if you comment you subscribe!

But thanks for the reminder. I just got the first samples last week and have them on my bike to ensure no issues. I'm going to ride and refine a bit before kicking off a bigger run

Hopefully not too late, but I will also take a couple of sets.

Thanks for doing this.

If it's not too late, please put me down for 4 pairs. Probably too late to vote, but I'd prefer T25.

Hi Everyone,

Wow, this took a lot longer than I hoped, mostly due to life on my side.
In any event, I have the screws and made some nice packaging and I think they look great. Not to mention they function excellent!

Final design is 3mm hex with GR5 titanium. I have these in at least 10 bikes now and all have installed great.

Pricing was a bit ambitious on my first estimate and these come to $30. It was important to me to enable domestic production. If you'd like to order I'm offering a 15% discount on that list price with discount code "paceline"

Here's a link to the classifieds thread

Bringing this one back from the dead...I have a few sets of these from the first batch and they're fantastic!

Any chance these are going to be updated with a version to fit the 12-speed Shimano levers? Looks like they're still using screws made from soft cheese, and the size/shape is a bit different than the 11-speed version. The 105 levers come with a more-durable screw, and it's supposedly available separately, but I haven't found any in stock yet.

Oh hey! I'm so glad they're working for you, thanks for compliments!

Regarding 12s compatibility, I'm not sure if there will be a follow up on these. At least not until I work through this batch. It does seem like the same screw would work for 12s and 11s since the only difference appears to be the head diameter.

If anyone has 12s shifters they could look and confirm with that would be great!

Also, for others following along, pricing has been reduced to $25 for the pair (o-rings included)

Sweet looking screws, and great communal solution.

For anyone with the stock screws, I think I generally use a T8 or T10. I can’t remember which. But I never stripped one, or saw one stripped.

Appreciate the response! And I certainly don't blame you for wanting to work through the current ones, can't be a small investment to get these moving. Will keep my fingers crossed these will work for the 12-speed version as well.

Thanks all for the kind words.

Does anyone have both 11s and 12s shifters? I'd be curious if screws are compatible (even if shimano says no)
