In 40+ years of wrenching on all kinds of stuff, I have never had a problem with stripped hex/Allen bolts.
Whoever did an oil change on my motorcycle before used the wrong size Torx key on the drain plug and ruined it. Can't happen with Allen.
It's now impossible to get out without drilling and using an extractor.

Go to hell Torx!
