I've ownd my fair share of French bikes, from 50's-80's bike.
The ones that'r worth keeping or at least trying out are the early to mid 80's road bikes made w/ Super Vitus 980, 983. Lively, responsive rides that don't bog you down when things get steep. I'd like a vintage Peugeot UO-8, NOS or used.
To re-live my youth; must have the Ideale leather saddle and Mafac centerpulls. I know those bikes came with serrated sidewall steel rims but I'd like aluminum rims for better stopping. Gotta be the classic black and white.
