11 speed rear spacing all being the same. Was nice to have multiple wheelsets that would work with different groups on different bikes.

Zefal Double Shot floor pump. Was very nice using it with my mountain bike but sucks with my road bike. Now, with tubeless on my road bikes, would have been nice. Evidently, it formed a curve like a banana when left inside my trunk and then got stolen. Bummer. At least with my current pumps, I get to exercise.

The Spurcycle titanium multi-tool. Pricey as heck, which is probably why it no longer exists, but still by far the best on-bike tool I own.

that's what I as thinking.. the current gravel bikes with tires nearing mid-50mm (or more?) are quickly getting close to MTB realms, if you really those size of tire.. for me, I loved riding the flowey, smoothish dirt trails in San Diego on my cross bikes.. some, like my Gin & Trombones, were super quick handling as they were pure race bikes, but many were just nice to ride off pavement.. and a good set of well adjusted V-Brakes never let me down.. or, dare I say it, very well adjusted cantis..

Easton EC90SLX forks - was one of the best rim brake forks I've ever used.

Rapha made two products that have been just wonderful.

First is a wind shell, beautifully made in Italy. Deep claret color. Packs up tiny. Light. Fabulous zipper. Form fitting, esp. at the shoulders. Two small side pockets. Not rain proof but good for light showers. And just plain elegant design. Durable, with two tiny holes only in the last, what, 8 years or so. I’d buy another in a heart beat.

Second is a summer jersey made primarily with silk, very well thought out, made in Vietnam. It’s cool, light, maintains its shape, and the fabric has a lovely feel to it. I was suspicious when I first took a chance on it, but it has outlasted most of what has come in between. I’d buy that one again too.

I was reading this list and trying to come up with something and you helped me remember. I never should have sold my XTR cantis. Though the only bike in our garage that would take them today is my wife's Surly Cross Check.

The other item I miss is my original Aegis mtn bike. I should have kept that for nostalgia purposes. I raced it all of college, but the demise of 1" mtb forks made me sell it. I should have turned it into a fully rigid single speed.

• First gen Campy 10
• IRD wide-range cassettes for Campy 10
• Fizik aluminum seatposts
• Suntour XC-Pro cantis with Power Hanger (best canti iteration ever).
• Avid Ultimate v-brakes (replaced the original, squealy XTRs shortly after purchasing my MTB in '98 and still on there to this day)
• Avid Rollamajig

Honorable mention !NOT!: Chris King o-ring threadless headset. Too cheap to pay for rights to use a split ring so go with a POS alternate solution. The reason I will never own another CK product.
