I rode my Airborne Zeppelin for the second day in a row. I had not been on it for awhile. I did a major clean/maintenance on it last week. I was trying latex tubes today for the first time. Not pleased with them, 2 flats and the difference in the ride was not worth the cost, not even on sale cost.

I sure do like the Zeppelin though. My comparably equipped Lemond Tourmalet, 853 steel, is almost 3 pounds heavier. To be fair, I love riding the Tourmalet also, and it has heavier cockpit components and wheels.

Grand tour around the island today, 82 miles. This is at the Katama boat launch looking over to the barrier beach, Chappaquiddick on the left. Windy with sharp gusts, almost blown over a couple of times!

Took the Firefly all the way around the island, all six towns, 82 miles. Windy with some powerful gusts, sunny skies, must have hit 50F.
