Nice Lobster. Like Scoobydrew, I also saw this on Paul's blog - it's still on top as I type this message. Paul just built me a steel fork that I will use on my steel Alliance. It should be here tomorrow. He is a great guy for sure.

Oh and recently finished this em Motorola, was contemplating transplanting the dura ace 7700 group rom my fondriest but opted for a campa Daytona 10s group
Since I had defiled the beautiful frame with a black handlebar (not too many affordable modern/compact 26mm handlebars with 380mm width in silver available in europe) I felt that I'd deserved some matchy nitto bling endcaps |

Here are a few pics of the steel fork that Paul just built for me - rim brakes of course. It's perfect and I requested the decals. Last edited by dcama5; 01-24-2024 at 04:30 PM. |

I really dig the older aesthetic of smaller diameter frames with a chromed fork, but for this build, I really wanted to go with carbon. Honestly, I wish I could find a NOS Alpha Q GS10 - had one years ago and it rode REALLY well. |

I'll be building this up with DA 9250 once it arrives. With tubulars too!

Bianchi with Columbus TSX, purchased here from a member. Have been riding this in the off season for the past 2-3 years. Was able to determine the frame's age, it's circa 1994-1996, so 30 years old.
It's set up with a mix of Rival-Force-Apex 10spd, with Bontrager RL wheelset. Was able to fit Gravel kings 26mm, which expand to 27mm w room to spare (safely). It's set up with tpu tubes, and despite its age, it's a true and true race bike with planted, quick handling. Cockpit is Zipp bars and a shiny Origin8 stem, paired with Inn Cycle 1" to 1/8" thread adapter. The downtube tube and seat tube ovalize at the bb, has a power meter, and a bell on the handlebar. I was skeptical after I bought it, cause it's *HEAVY*. But once you're moving in a paceline or a group, you forget its heft as it floats and is poised to pounce as needed. I like this bike so much I already worn out and swapped chains 2x. It has plenty of nicks but no dents or rust, which is miraculous. I take good care of it and hope to ride it till it dies. |

Looking sweet, Adam. I trust that the reversed front QR is owing to you being blinded by the beauty of the frame
