Frame stripping and finishing was done by Allan Wanta...then I put it back together, needed something to do while rehabbing from a TKR.....now I'm riding!..

Looks very cool (the "to..." one)
good job
Decided I didn't like factory paint..wanted a cleaner, understated look so I had it stripped and cleared by Allan Wanta..took awhile, but I had a TKR so no hurry...raw titanium and carbon weave cleared with semi gloss. Black Serrotta/Ottrott decals...difficult to see in photos but obvious in sunlight. Built back with DA 9100/Ultegra 8000, Praxis cranks, Mavic Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL UST's (tubeless) with Schwalbe Pro One's 700x30's (with almost no clearance at FD clamp!)

Beautiful work there and amazing you can clear those 30s! You could get a Parlee or other carbon FD clamp and gain a few more mm's of room there - let me know if you're interested and I'll look to see if I have one in 34.9 for that DT.

In the meantime, throw a piece of tape under the bridges and behind the seat-tube - 3M heli tape works best - I've seen too many carbon bridges ruined by junk scraping at the underside when it seemed like there was plenty of clearance.

Ellis Strada Disc now in the stand..

Will share more details in a build thread soon. Very beautiful frameset. Exceptional finish work by Dave, of course. Going to be making more than a handful of changes - wheels, bars, some groupset upgrades, etc.

Early indication is it'll fit 35s, though it was built for 28s w fendies.

Yup. One is wall-art, the other is getting rebuilt with R12 after a framesaver treatment...

I have two projects going - but very slow going...

Hoping to get this one finished first....

44mm head tube, 27.2 seat tube, T47 bb, flat mount and internal Di2 routine. Fork painted in team Yeti turquoise

I have a groupset from my Mason Bokeh to swap over - just in search of a nice 2* chainset - I like the Easton EA90/EC90 with 47/32 chainrings...

I believe they built this frame for the 2020 NAHBS - the welds look great.

Yeah. Was originally QR. Had a fork rebuilt for 12mm thru front and then because I had the frame built with Paragon's Polydrops, I was able to swap inserts for 12mm rear with Shimano Direct Mount hanger.

You've owned an Ellis before, right?

Yep, this is my fourth! But none have been made for me.. That's coming either later this year or early next. This one is kind of a tester for that.
