I did a ride out of the Canyon showroom today, so I went for a bike that’s from the other end of the spectrum in terms of modernity, etc.

Glad I got out, but wasn't really feeling it today. The Zanc of course was fine.

I ended up riding solo on my gravel bike today even though I was planning to follow up with another group ride (road) after yesterday's 55-miler with a group. The weather was simply too good to pass up. Mid-70s both days. Went to a nearby dog park that has a 1-mile mixed gravel/paved loop and rode around like 20+ times, some might say that's boring but to me, just being able to get out there in my short sleeves is a win.

Of course not taken today because today was a beautiful late winter day here-mid-20’s, little wind but bright and sunny. Just a great day to enjoy the heritage and memories of what we rode back in the 70-80’s.

Stopped at my usual stop on my Lake Geneva loop, couldn’t resist another picture of this working pay phone:

A Loop around the Claremont Wilderness Park

Lucky enough to live .25 miles from the trailhead. All fireroad, perfect for an hour on the cross bike (I don't own a dedicated gravel bike).
