Nine of us did six miles on the Minnesota River bottoms.
All fat tires. I rode my Salsa Blackborow and carried lunch/jetboil etc. I guess you'd call it a picnic. |

One of two nearly identical cheap Colnago C-RS bikes. You have to look close to see slightly different bars and seat post.
There have been 4 rideable days in February. Winter sucks. |

A little under three hours up and down Figueroa Mountain on the Eroica bike today. About an hour to get to the base of the climb, just over an hour climbing, twenty minutes descending, and about forty-five minutes home. Trying to work on seated climbing.
Probably stayed out a little too late at the end. |

Interesting. My gravel bike is mounted to my Tacx NEO 2 trainer. My Kirk is the bike I grab 90+% of the time I ride outside. The Kirk is sublime.

I'm going to go meet with a PT soon who is also a bike fitter and talk about what's going on. I think it is more than just the bike and the surface. Cold weather. Slippery-ish wool gloves. And the rest of my day....computer work, etc. Still, I can't get into gravel until/unless this gets better. |

What Did You Ride Today?

These frames are fantastic value. I just had one built up and it’s a fun ride. If I could I would have an identical one built up too just because. I’ll take mine out today. |

you may not like it aesthetically, but i see all of your bikes are set-up with copious amounts of drop, which may not provide an ideal fit for you. if your hands and wrists are taking a brunt of load and shock absorption, something is, IMO - off. i'd go back and do some reading on older posts from Ed TiDesigns about "falling on your pedals" and human tendency to balance weight on the hands on a bike. his theories helped me a little over the years. none of that is meant as a criticism, just food for thought and maybe help.
