Trek Domane SL, discs, 28mm on the back, 25mm on the front. Very cushy and stable in today's wind.

Slummed it on a Parlee Z1 with DA9070: so old school, the carbon wheels aren't even tubeless.

I rode my 1980s specialized sirrus 650b conversion. I’ve been having fun commuting and riding urban singletrack on it. Picture is from last weekends ride.

I love the idea of 650b conversions. How do you like yours?

I've really enjoyed it. Late 80's sirruses are great values--I've heard rumors that they used same frame as the allez for several years. The handling with 650bx38mm tires is pretty quick, though a bit stabler than with 700x25s (maybe because the bottom bracket is slightly lower?). The wider tires are great for mixed city street/gravel MUP/dirt rides.

Putting it together provided some fun tinkering opportunities, too, including my first wheel build.

Sorry for this not being a action shot. I think she definitely needs some modern bars. Although I’m by far the fastest on the bike, I won the race to get coffee first today. The pear danish I helped out with was quite tasty.
