Had to get out early in the dense fog for the maiden voyage of my supersized Stuttgart Merckx (Pic not from today, but from Monday's finished assembly). Rough guess is that this is the first time I've ridden 28mm tires in about 8 years. Didn't die or get a pinch flat.

Needs a little tweaking, bars a bit high and reach a bit long but this was the only 26.0 quill I had close to the right length. Need to find some 26.4 bars so I can use the 125mm Merckx Panto stem I have.

Do you work downtown?

I remember the good ol days of living in Lincoln Park and riding to the CME. I'd take Clark > Dearborn > LaSalle..........couldn't PAY me to ride that route now

Nothing

Didn't ride anything. Stinking Michigan winters. Low teens this morning and still a bit of ice/snow on the roads and a bunch of road salt. Love the state but hate winter.
