Yes! When I'm not riding up in the foothills, I'm usually down on the trail. Say "Hi" next time you see me!

Have to give you folks credit. I complain when it gets down to the low 50's.

From Old Sac to Lake Folsom. Maybe the best extended bike/ped trail in the country. Fond memories....

Kind of a grey day here in NJ today.

i'm really digging the idea lately of a utility bike, errand/coffee runner. this old miyata is the perfect platform for it.

it's really a breadth of fresh air to run to the coffee shop with a bike like this, flat pedals are SO much mice to ride in street shoes than trying to balance on top of SPDs or road pedals, especially if the ground is moist at all.

this bike desperately needs some new brake pads and tires. thinking of some high volume cheap skinwalls and fresh pads. also have a cheap set of panniers in the basement, and this will be perfect for it's intended use.

kickstands rule.

It was snowing a bit this morning so I decide to take the Empire Rail Trail from Hopewell Jct to New Paltz, where I picked up the Walkill trail for a bit. 50 miles, mostly at temps from 23-26. The last 5-8 miles finally saw the sun come out.
My Focus Paralane is everything I hoped it would be. A couple of years ago I never would have ridden in this crap!

For a while it was just me out there, except for the Marist track team running.
