* real name, if you like Tai
* where do you live? Seattle...hilly and rainy
* explanation of your handle I thought it was pretty funny back when Kid Rock was popular. That was a long time ago...maybe it's time I should change the name. There's a comedian who goes by Chinaman KidWok...that's not me.
* explanation of your avatar I designed, launched and manage a six-day charity bike ride along the Oregon coast for the Arthritis Foundation...it's my baby
* age (general or specific) Mid-30's
* occupation non-profit event director
* favorite bike Soma DCDC all-road
* what's in your stable? Soma DCDC, Salsa La Cruz Disc, Davidson lugged touring rig, Serotta Fierte Cross, Merckx MX Leader, Merlin 6/4 TR, Gunnar S&S Roadie (about to be sold), Co-Motion Nor'Wester Co-Pilot, Kestrel Evoke, old Shafer-built Salsa townie, Co-Motion Torpedo Periscope (for the kid) and Santana Noventa (for the wife)
* fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? 56 mph descending Sandia Peak outside of ABQ, NM
* how many miles ON THE ROAD on a road bike last year? Dunno...got two kids under four so it couldn't have been much!
* picture of yourself or your ride?

* make up and answer at least one additional question. Why did I start riding a bike? Because I got into four car accidents within one year and couldn't afford car insurance...some truth to Asians being bad drivers perhaps.
* what is the biggest lie you've ever told "This is the last bike I'll buy in the next five years."
* and, something fun. My job! I've been privileged to design the kind of ride I want to do. Watching people have the time of their lives on a bike while supporting a good cause is incredibly fulfilling. Being sponsored by Rogue Ales and Rogue Creamery doesn't hurt either. I'm in the process of launching a new ride...two-day dirt-road rally in the Sun Valley area.

I live in Madison, WI
I am in a classic country band, Earl Foss is my name there.
I am 33 years old
I work in biology research at UW Madison
My CAAD10 rules. I also have a Fisher Mt. Tam hardtail from the old days that still tears up the trails.
I do many miles, don't keep track.
I like to race. I'm hoping to put in a few good results this season.
