In 1974 I spent a good part of the spring/summer in England and Europe traveling with the U.S. factory motorcycle race teams competing in the Anglo-American Match Race Series.

While I was in England, being the motorcycle junkie and also a dealer, I visited people and places that were storied in the biz; Paul Dunstall, Sammy Miller, the Rickman Brothers, among others.

I ordered a Dunstall Norton 810 from Paul and bought and brought a Rickman Honda frame home with me. What a beautiful piece equipment; perfect welds, exquisitely put together. I used my 72 750 as a donor bike and rode the Rickman as a daily driver. I lived in the foothills of the Laguna mountains east of San Diego and rode the near 100 miles round trip into the dealership in Pacific Beach. What a great way to start my day! I took the fairing off for the summers as it increased the cockpit heat. Unfortunately this is the only image, a pic of a photo, I have of my Rickman. It was a great bike.

Interested in buying depending on the make. I’m six feet 195 with a 41ish chest, so I’m assuming I’d be looking at a 46. Also, possibly a RSD Ronin. Please PM. Thx.

Funny enough I was much faster on the R6

Track riding is what's been pushing me to increase my cycling volume in the past few years, I'm not sure how I could ride a 20 minute session at pace without having developed most of that fitness on a bicycle.

If you go back to the track (and it fits your current risk profile), you might find some free gains.

Had it for a few years.Could only ride it half day before Wrist,Elbows and shoulders started to ache.Plus it was to easy to get stupid on it

My RS125 at LRRS in Louden, NH. 2004-ish.

I used to live in NH and I remember going to a day of amateur racing there where a rider on a Honda 125 was giving a shellacking to the much larger bikes on the track. Maybe it was you!

I agree, my best seasons road racing coincided with racing bicycles, especially endurance races.
