You've made this claim before, but it's not true. The facts don't support it.

It may have served that purpose for you, but VW didn't plan it that way.

Outward similarities are superficial and incidental.

right, the Thing was just a little bit more civilized Kublewagon.. fairly certain there were still some toolings in the Wolfsburg factory lying around and it was taken advantage to have another model.. I encourage anyone to read a bit about the history of VW, both pre- and post-WWII.. it's super interesting (I did a paper on it at one point)..

I have seen a bunch of Cybertrucks here in Atlanta. I must give the vehicle designers credit - with each new Cybertruck spotted, it gets uglier.

Within a few hours of reading this post I saw not only a white one but a pink one too !, also later in the day a dark/olive green one....maybe San Diego is leading the way with cybertrucks per capita....

Well, same thing happened to the tires on my neighbor's Mustang, so I'm thinking it's not just the power and weight but how and how often the prodigious power is applied(?).

How to explain why The Thing only finally appeared stateside those exact months before the arrival of the Rabbit platform?

And how to explain the almost otherwise-inexplainable "weird" CT's styling collage?
Mark my words, future Tesla "pickup" trucks will soon become at least somewhat rounder, with painted finished like all other passenger vehicles. And it won't take all of the years that it took for the rabbit to morph into the much-smoother Golf (that transformation merely followed auto industry trends).

Big business tends to leave little to chance.
Elon and The Donald definitely aren't quite the unilateral automatons that they pretend to be.

Meanwhile, I’ve used 217 kWh in the past 31 days for a (home) charging cost of $26.

It would cost me at $76 - $96 to do that if I didn't have solar.

What's that in terms of miles, about 800?

Wow! Where do you live? I'd love to have solar but live in a townhouse where the whole community would have to get on board with it. I don't see that happening.

Do you have a home storage battery as well?

Honestly, I don't know but that's probably in the ballpark. It's been a pretty quiet month of driving. A normal monthly use case would be $30-$40.

Also, I'm not in denial that I spent tens of thousands to save dozens of dollars per month. The financial payback on my Model Y is likely many, many years. Unfortunately, I bought at peak Tesla prices.

SF Bay Area. Probably the most expensive electric power rates in the US.

No storage battery. I don't get many power outages.
