Finally back on the bike after 3 weeks of recovering from a pulled tooth and related infection.

A nice ride through the Cheltenham badlands. An interesting surface geologic formation near the Niagara escarpment.

always happy to see various places that i have never been, very nice!

so, i assume there is a road somewhere up to this castle? looks like it's probably quite the trip from there to get some groceries!

Decided to torture myself a bit and rode a loop with two of the nicer climbs in North Georgia; Hogpen Gap and Wolf Pen Gap. The view from the top of Hogpen is pretty nice:

LOL...47mm tires at 30psi and the bridge deck ain't even wet!

I've done riskier things.

While I was driving down the gravel road to the castle I could see helicopters spreading lime over the forests. So the damage of the coal combustion are combated.

Nacimiento Rd, at around 130mi into the Carmel 200 over the w.e. The twisty downhill on the other side was a blast, and well earned.
