Yea that is a lot of damage to the frameset for no damage to the box. That is the first picture they ask for when filing a damage shipment claim. A picture of the shipping box.

My guess. The person that packed it jacked it up somehow and just threw it in the box hoping for the best or. They shipped a damaged frameset that was hanging out from a warranty claim.

Run the Serial number by Pinarello. See what they say....

Funds aren't back in my hands yet - but CRC is being responsive and taking care of it.....so that is good. No more in stock to send, just a refund and apology. Mistakes happen - hopefully this results in some better quality control in the shipping department for them.

I hope the Ellis catch and release was not for this eventuality, well thus far...

Get INS to subsidize an already damaged unit simply adding some alternate process. I buy that as a possibility.

No, the Ellis was to be a long-term project going back to when I had a Moots Routt RSL in hand - and the drop/fit just didn't come together for me.. I'm still on the hunt for the right all-road bike that jives with my geo and hand-weakness needs. This Dogma dithering was simply to scratch a longstanding itch - N+1 in the truest sense.

This whole scenario has solidified my plan to order a C64 from a shop in Italy, travel with an empty bike bag, ride it around the Dolomites, Tuscany, maybe Corsica, and then bring her on home.

Your point being?? ;O

Yeah, the Helix Pro Disc frame hit 1/2 hour ago. I was out in the shop scoping the 42x650 prospects/possibilities...

Ample seat stay generosity, chain stay not so much.

Some EC70AX bars landed as well. Been looking forward to those...
