Quality, not quantity.

~88kph/55mph, coming out of Yosemite Valley about 5 years ago, going through a tunnel on the 140, with dark glasses. Couldn't see a thing. Stupidest thing I've ever done. Jesus must really love me.

~10,500 km/6,500 miles. Not nearly enough, but an improvement

No pics. And I'm furiously ugly. Bike's pretty, tho'.

What's your perfect day? Any day that involves a) riding b) writing c) getting the wife naked. Pick any two.

Dunno that it's the biggest lie I've ever told, but it's a lie that haunts me to this day: I'm 3 years old. It's Halloween. The doorbell rings and it's a dad with his 2-year old kid on his shoulder. I give the dad a rock and tell him that if he cuts the thing open, he'll find candy in the middle. Dad looks at me like "you know kid, you're an arsehole." And you know what? I've felt like an arsehole for that one for 45 years.

Two days ago, my 15 y-o daughter, decided to get into MT biking. It woulda been awesome if she wanted to be a roadie, but I'll take what I can get. Got her a new helmet, gloves, shoes and took her out on some trails yesterday. Total effing blast. My daughter rocks.
