I'm in Colorado Springs and this has been one of the worst years for me getting some biking in. I'm usually at 1,500- 2,000 miles by this time of year but currently only at 800.

Took a little ride straight up the valley from Chandler to Scottsdale to visit Regroup Coffee. The canal paths and mild temps made it bearable.. And the road up by papago was pretty cool. Regroup has some serious candy (a Bastion Ti n' carbon wunderbikah, couple Spooky, and a bunch of trick 3T bikes and bits) - and great coffee and fancy toast

Tomorrow is South Mountain.

^Just a beautiful bike. The red looks like it's glowing. Did you end up riding this for the Farmer's Daughter?

So nice. How long did it take for your Berthoud to break in?

This particular Berthoud saddle is the first one I purchased years ago. It's a Galibier and it probably took around 200 miles or so before it was totally broken in. I am pretty heavy so it usually doesn't take me very long to break them in.

One of the few days in past month that it didn't rain here. First ride on the Giordana XL-Strada. Roofing the round barn looks like good fun.

Beautiful day, even if cloudy and cool, in the mountains north of Santa Barbara. Hitting the lower slopes of Figueroa Mountain before turning around at the dirt segment.

Sounded like it might have been cooler in SoCal today than it was here. Weather is weird...

NE Kansas under water

I frequently ride at the area reservoirs . . . we've had so much rain that most of my routes have been completely disrupted, but this is ridiculous!

This road to nowhere actually goes to a parking lot, a boat ramp, and there is a shelter house and outhouse - and all of it is completely underwater. The lake (Perry Lake) is currently 24 feet above normal pool. It's been one crazy spring!
