Great color - lots of big-boy Serottas in the workstands these days!

With that Force AXS I think you're going to "wear it best"

It will be interesting to see how that ride compares to more modern bikes!

It was previewed here by another Paceline'r and Kirk aficionado but I grabbed it off eBay before making that connection. I bought it to ride it though, not to look at it - and potentially as a template for the Onesto I just got in the queue for for later this year or early next. So, gotta decide how to build it. Thinking 2015+ R11 and Shamal Ultra tubs - probably with 23s since the stays are pretty short n' tight (only 2mm w 25mm tubs shown). It's going to be fun to see how differently this rides and handles from my Sachs.

We think it is "Viola". Shout out to Mac Lynch at coolplanetbikesvt for his help identifying the color. It looks a little washed out in this photo.

I asked the owner of the Serotta Fan Club FB group if they had info on this frame but haven't heard back. Sure would be great if any build sheets still out in the wild were made available.

Thanks
Tim

Have you checked the serial number? That should tell you if it is custom or standard - I'd guess it is custom given the HT length.. I've heard nothing but good things about the ride of these CdA frames - a less expensive version of an Ottrot but still very nice.

a little force, a little red. Next project is to figure out how to get the f'kn rear brake cable to thread internally. Interestingly this was discussed in one of Lionel's DOgma threads in 2014 so I've got some Paceline guidance

I know it's not conventional but for what you described, perhaps consider a Jones bar...I really like mine.

Thanks Tom and Jeff!!!
cool!

give us the backstory for those of us non-conversant in Ross history, sounds like something pretty interesting if the tom and jeff show were involved.

And now for something more than a little bit different. It's a Moulton TSR9. If you've never spend any time on one of these things you owe it to yourself to do it. It's a much different experience and pretty darn cool.

Can folks our size actually ride these, or is that a project for someone else? I've never been on one, or a Bike Friday..
