A few emails back and forth with Matt Nightingale at Mason and they were happy to shop to the US. A great experience and highly recommend them!!

Gunnar Crosshairs, which Iā€™m still setting up. Mini Motos work well with the Centaur 11 shifters. Challenge Gravel Grinder TLR were an easy tubeless install.

High elevation gravel

Until I can find a suitable Ti gravel rig, the Chebacco will do:

Also, I find that my 1:1 gearing is just not enough for some of the grades I encounter with the 700c dia. With 650b, I can eliminate most of my hiking.

My gravel bike can fit up to 700x43. It can accommodate 650bx47.

Do you mean a frame which can run both a 700x47 and 650b x 2.1?
Bearclaw Thunderhawk does 46 and 2.4".

Do you mean because the wheel is smaller? Maybe I'm not understanding this right -- I thought the bigger wheel/smaller tire combo and the smaller wheel/bigger tire ended up almost the same overall diameter.

Or not? Maybe, pretty close but different enough that the difference would translate into a meaningful reduction in your gear ratio?

Swan with some gravel tires mounted.

they may not be the lightest, but i do think a steel fork really makes a difference off-road. so smooth.

It's true except I can feel the difference whether off-road or on-road, it shines on both.
