Here's some from today's ride. Most were taken when I was out on the Evans but I did stop once to grab a pic of the Davidson.

And the bikes I took out today.

Headed into the Valley from the house today. Didn't stop for too many pics though.

Hill pal, I like your kirk so very much, do me a favor, would you...leave that long steerer tube intact, so that one day, I might inherit that bike from you. my quiver is full...way full these days and hardly any bike out there that still catches my attention....but this one surely does!

Easy ride this afternoon on the Firefly - getting it dialed I think. Middle Rd in Chilmark.

Wild turkeys

Wild turkey hens gleaning a small field along a road on one of my usual roads. Saw them last week along a small stream about 100m south

So far she is a keeper, but I am leaving the steerer tube intact just in case I need more room some day or I end up having Dave build one specifically for me!

good thinking...keep it then!
I am emotionally more attracted to the "label" on the downtube than the bike itself, because of my admiration for the man. He is good people.

You know I do have a nice fillet brazed one here that I may part with in the near future! Dave's bikes are beautiful and ride amazing as well.

Thanks for your kind thoughts. White and red, both my favorite bike colors.

To be entirely honest, not really looking to add another bike right now or the near future.

I hear you! I'm over the limit myself right now and finding the time to ride them all is impossible at this stage of my life. If you ever make it out to the east coast again you are more than welcome to try either of the Kirks out yourself!

I'm not sleeping well. Got up at 5 and went for a wet ride in the fog.

I just hope that's not a Martha’s Vineyard rock that was so ill-behaved!
