Hopefully this one, if a buy-from-random-distant-Craigslist-person purchase comes through. Going to try the 650b thing, I think. I'm itching to explore some of the gravel and dirt roads near Seattle this coming summer.

Very compressive, patchwork of different fabrics, all black, but different finishes--they look great. Seriously warm. Very comfortable to have minimal kit to stay warm in frigid temps. Rode them today in freezing rain high 20sF temps. Great for wet, east coast cold.

Both excellent products--highly recommend.
You got me on the bibs; just ordered for WI conditions likely similar to what you experience. Got the second to last pair in my size and I had forgotten I had Pactimo rewards points that made them an even better deal

Thanks! They fit well, they are very light, I need the extra width. Currently riding Lake cx241 wide, they are also wonderful, but wanted to try something different and have a second pair of road shoes.

Glad to see more companies offering wide shoes.

Agree. My understanding is some shoe companies add additional material but don’t make a wider last. Lake and now Fizik both make wider lasts. I have tried a Specialized s-works 7 wide, it’s not wide for my feet, the last is the same width as their regular shoe, that’s my understanding.

True Lake has 3 or 4 lasts. The Bontrager Velocis wide is just that, more high volume but same last. Still works for many but not true wide.
