Fuel EX 8 XT, hopefully a good choice for all around riding.
Hard not to enjoy yourself on that bike.

I can sleep in it on camping trips. It can replace two pieces. Wear it off bike. So justification.

I have a few items from Velocio and all seem to be really good. I like that they are quasi local and that they have sustainability and social justice elements to their mission. The quality is very high and so far their pieces seem to fit my body better, form fitting torso and waist without tight shoulders.

I picked this up as well and have similar thoughts about pricing and utility. I have yet to wear it as a base layer and have found I like it alone or in combo with a vest better than my Rapha LS Classic Jerseys, which surprised me given that this feels lighter weight.

Chris King 1" NoThreadSet with extra 1 1/8" cap. Gold sotto voce.

This will go on my 1997(?) Litespeed Appalachian, which has a 1" steerer. I added a Velo Orange shim to 1 1/8" for modern stems and such, hence the 1 1/8" cap on the side.

I ordered this on August 18 of last year, so it's been just about exactly 5 months, thanks to the pandemic, raw material issues, employee health issues, supply chain issues, etc.

I grabbed a set of brand new takeoff 38c Panaracer Gravelking SK+ off Facebook for $40 total. It was a nice score to have some back up tires when the current WTB set wears out.
