Where are those BTLO wheels made? China, or somewhere else?

Those look good. Were the brass washers under the spoke heads a special request? Is there less of an issue on the rear hub?

My fat arse just looks at those pictures and I hear shattered spokes and visions of me testing gravity with my face.

I'll jump in, they are made in Xiamen China. I am another satisfied customer. 1200 miles and still perfectly straight and true. I went with the Bitex hubs too. My only issue was that the included valve stems were too short.

I won't be getting those wheels then. They might be great wheels, but I've known too many people both in real life and on other forums that have had Chinese brand/company wheels fail while riding, and it's my arse on the line, so I won't take the chance, but you all go on ahead, it's perfectly fine with me since it's not my arse on those wheels.

Hunh.
Not an issue for me either, since I build all my own wheels, but…I’m very active on three major bike forums as well as local (and some national) riding groups and have never heard of a Chinese brand/company wheel failing. Ever.

BTLOS has a pretty strong reputation both here and other forums I visit. There is plenty of sketchy product out in the world, but not everything from China is crap. I would have no problem buying something from BTLOS, FarSports, Lightweight wheels, and there is probably a few others.
