Ordered, but have not yet received, for around town riding and short commute days:

Globe Daily 3, 7-spd nexus hub, and a globe rear rack for it.. this will free me of any ambitions to do racks on the next bike that i've discussed ad nauseum at this point..

Roadbike comeback part III.

I have to try again, before my number comes up, with a highly respected builder here at The Paceline.

2013 Spesh Roubaix
- external routed shift cables
- threaded BB

DT wheelset
- from a great member @ the paceline
- 240/Comp/440 asym

10sp Veloce
- need to stay humble

Still need that elusive 27.2 (need to verify) alu Fizik Cyrano SP

P.S. Bit the bullet and ordered a carbon R3 Cyrano (sigh).

Garmin Cadence Sensor

And some rare earth metal magnets to put in the pedal axle to replace the stock Garmin magnet that you have to ziptie.

Do you have pics of it built up posted anywhere? Maybe not such a good idea for me to take a look..that'll surely send me into another bout of seller remorse indused PTSD and deep depression.

I sorely regret selling it. What was I thinking??

Keep a close eye on it, and don't tell me where you live...

Oh well, the only way I was able to fill that void was to have a zank built to similar geo.

Some new wheels, trying out the QBP hand built wheel option.
DT350 road hubs on Hed Belgium+ with Comp spokes and prolocks.

Also bought a bunch of other stuff for a new Black Mountain Cycles cross bike that is waiting for a build. Paul Mini Motos being at the top of the list along with a bunch of new Ultegra 10 speed

2006 Expedition. Rated to tow 8900 lbs, trailer maxes at 7000 lbs.

Now I understand why tow vehicles need so much power as the Expedition's 300 hp and 360 ft/lbs torque seem pretty inadequate. Not that I'm going fast but I see where the lbs/hp becomes an issue. Empty the whole set up is 5500 lbs + 3500 lbs (give or take) so 9000 lbs. It's like having a 150 hp biggish/4500lbs SUV or a 100 hp 3000lbs car or about an 80 hp regular small car (Civic or similar). Even my 1993 VX with 92 hp had considerably better lbs/hp.

Right now the stuff I carry totals in the 1000-1500 lbs range.

Now my "dream vehicle" is some massive diesel truck kind of thing. I'd think a manual would work better but I don't know. It's sort of irrelevant right now since I won't be changing tow vehicles any time soon.
