That seems like a ton of wasted space in order to have compartments and organization. Can you cram more stuff in instead? With that flip up lid it seems unlikely you'd be opening it while riding?

Hoping to transform the ride of my Lynskey. Until I got my Bishop I had never ridden latex tubes and really good quality tires.

Not quite a purchase yet, but had a nice 40 minute conversation with Brad Bingham this morning. Should have a preliminary diagram in the next few days!

Had Mike @ Black Mountain build me a 650b wheelset (Chorus/Dyad) for my new Crust Lightening Bolt Frameset. Also picked up some new Kool Stop CX pads for the Suntour XC-Pro cantis I'll be running. Thought I needed a headset, but found a needle bearing Stronglight in my stash (no idea where it came from). All that's left is a rear brake cable hanger. Insulators were not part of the purchase.

Adding some Italian flair to the gravel road setup. Wanted a 2-bolt shoe that wasn't super chunky. Fizik Tempo Overcurve X3.

RobJ, interested to know what you think of those. I like the description of that model, wondering if they’d be a good fit for a guy who fits Shimano shoes well.

I just purchased a Campy Zonda wheel set from PBK. 16% off sale, declining every hour by 2%, max discount $40. Began at 1pm EDT and lasts for 8 hours. My final price with shipping, $360 usd. I got the special PBK edition dark label for Shimano.

Will do.

Waiting on the last build part to get back on the road. The initial in house carpet test was very positive. Nice fit and feels like decent walkability. I like that they are 10.75 US, whereas most other brands are either a 10.5 or 11. I had the 45 RX8's from Shimano and just felt a little narrow. I tried the RC3 or RC5 wides for fun and they were too sloppy, no matter how much I cinched down the straps. Giro Republic LXR in 44 fit like a glove.
