I grew up with Yamahas, so I'm biased, but that's a nice looking bike.

Shares the same destiny as too many of my bikes: not getting used enough.
16 years old and less than 5K miles.

@Motoguzzi1, so where is the Guzzi in the picture? Nice photo by the way, but I guess someone really doesn't like that sign.

Is this a r650gs? I’m thinking about one for my next bike. My number one hang up on these BMWs is I’m not sure I’m tall enough (5’7ish) to confidently rest at stop especially with someone riding pillion. I read they have lowering kits so maybe that would be in the cards. But I am looking for something comfortable and reliable for adventures - last bike was a Ducati 748 posted elsewhere in this thread... a bit of a change.

R1200GS.
Yes, they are a little challenging for shorter folks. At 5'11" I am fine. And yes, there were (and I assume still are) low seat options AFAIK.
Great bikes, even for touring but one of the downsides of the GSes are the stock seats IMHO. They might work well for off-roading but are anything but comfortable on longer trips.
Compromise that comes with the "dual sport" purpose.
Would need an aftermarket seat for that or switch to a K1600 (my plan)

Close to Wyalusing State Park. The bike is a Honda Africa Twin.

Just sold my 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200S. Best bike I ever owned. I miss it, but had zero time to ride...so it sat and sat.

If I were still actively riding and doing track days (racing days are long gone), I'd want to try a KTM 890R.
