Curious to see the final product but also a bit in disbelief - I think the latest Campagnolo stuff is gorgeous out the box!
This is for a PLF member. There are certain times the graphics don't fit the finish/build. I'm not sure what color frame these are going on. I already did the levers and derailleurs. The non-drive are is stripped of graphics and cleared but I need to reclear it. It got a bit of dust in it.

I could see that. I chose the color of my Kirk in part to look right with tan-walls and Campy logos, and it worked brilliantly, atmo.. but if you love orange or deep burgundy, well, you gotta do some work on those red-accented components I guess. Or find some NOS R11/SR11 and call that good. ha ha.

Yikes, I probably would have went with a matte black 'Super Record' decal to cover up the white and red but to each his own.
Or, ping these guys and ask for a matte black version of this for the new style.

He wanted it natural carbon with no graphics. Putting a protector on it doesn't eliminate the graphics unless it's the black on but then it's not natural carbon. It's not the first time we've done this or had them painted as well. So it's not a hard thing, just time consuming is all. And kind of messy.

I’ve been doing it all wrong...I just buy frames that match the Campy Red accents in the logos (the white highlight accent pieces are coming soon) still in the work stand dialing it in.

Tim, that looks extremely fun! I'd love to find a halfway decent frame kicking around here do a parts bin commuter build...

It's gonna look sweet I'm sure - looking forward to your finished pics and shots of the final build!

I actually did work toward chasing down some NOS SR11 kits! The last few SR11 kits I bid on Ebay went for within a couple hundred bucks of a new, de-badged SR12 kit (less brakes). With a relatively small price difference, I'd prefer to try the best that Campagnolo is making these days... even if I no longer have a leg to stand on for warranty claims.

The kit is heading over to this bike: https://forums.thepaceline.net/showt...=226140&page=4

Red wouldn't look good on it, and I got an itch to lighten it up a bit with a new kit and wheelset.

That is one handsome bike, Duffy.

Yeah, on your bike, stealth/natural is much better than red and silver graphics.

That's awesome Todd - didn't realize it was for your gorgeous Kirk! I think it's going to look great on there with how subtle the rest of the finish is..

If I were you, I'd consider some of the Calfee carbon bottle cages for it - those would look great and match the new components while keeping some of the classic look.

BTW - if you want to relieve yourself of those Campy 10 bits and crankset, I may know a guy..

I don't want to list someones name unless they do it first, hence my just saying it's for a PLF member. I didn't know what it was going on and he brought it up to me about removing the graphics. We'd done it in the past so I was fine with it. But since it's going on that bike (now that I've seen it), it'll look really clean and stealth with the natural carbon parts vs the red/silver graphics on it.

Ooh - I love that suggestion. Ordered. It all goes handsomely with the stem you sold me years ago.

I also grabbed a PMP Carbon post, and some Shamal Milles (debadged, as well). I will probably also switch out the RH32's with some Vittoria 30's. I am looking forward to putting it all together and giving it a go.

I'll keep you posted on the rest of the kit. Most of my fleet is getting re-arranged this winter. I haven't quite settled on what is going where, but things will certainly be moving along in the next couple months.

I appreciate your discretion, Mr Velocipede.

Bianchi Specialissima

Finally getting this one put together! Chorus EPS 11sp group. Wires pulled, derailleurs mounted and connected. BB cups & crank next on the list to install.

Also a crappy pic of a portion of the fleet.
