That just plain works. That's some BS right there.

These pedals are 100% perfectly fine. If you want them, get them. Shimano is not getting desperate because they released GRX pedals.

I tell you, though, Shimano is desperate for 1x to just disappear overnight. Seriously, they've lost the plot on 1x for MTBs and gravel bikes.

And Shimano should be desperate to fix their power meter. But they are not.

I've just attempted to setup an R8000 rear mech; what the hell is the barrel adjuster made from? Swiss cheese?
It seems like their quality has gone right out of the window.
It's probably easy to setup when box fresh, but a bit of use renders it almost fit for the recycling.
Never mind the leaking calipers on the brakeset. I don't think they're even that old.
The last Shimano groupset I owned was Ultegra 6600, and it was pretty much fit and forget.
Thankfully this install isn't on my bike.

Unless there is an accompanying price bump for the re-branding

Common gripe - a lot of ppl replace these with 105 barrel adjusters.

Orrrr, just buy 105.

I always assume that stuff like this is just for the customer who says "GRX everything" and leaves it to the bike shop. Not having a matching option leaves money on the table right?
