Serotta Serial Number Question - HG??

I had the top tube of my Fierte IT refinished this winter by Drummond's Cycles in Enfield, NH. It had a couple of bubbles and chips on it, but I also wanted to remove the Serotta decal from the top tube, so it was worth doing. They sanded it down and re-applied clear coat.

The result exceeded my expectations. Really looks great. And that frame has always ridden so well, too. Very smooth and stable, and stiff without feeling jarring.
