Another BMW guy here

Have logged many more bicycle miles the past two years, but every time I throw my leg over it I can't help but wear a silly grin.

This one isn't mine, but mine is just like it...

Gone - That Norton is sweet. And the 916, well....

I have a '90 FZR400 and '95 900SS/SP. I don't have any really good pics of the former since it seldom gets ridden but here's the latter...

Well heck! I have a few pics loaded into flikr that I can't seem to make link here.

Oh well.

Y'all are just going to have to imagine a Husky TE250 in the back of a Benz.

My 82 Nighthawk isn't much to look at, but I love riding it. Here's an adventure shot of me and a buddy somewhere on a backroad in Southern RI.

heavily customized suzuki SV-650R

major mods: GSXR750 fork & front brakes, GSXR1000 front wheel & brake rotors, GSXR750 rear wheel & brake rotor, ZX10R shock, custom-wired headlight harness, CF end-can + lots of other little things along the way. some day i might plump for a big-bore 744cc upgrade...when i win the lotto.

modification projects documented here with pictures/narrative.

here's the OEM config:

Here's a couple pics.

One of my VFR800 @ Monarch Pass, CO a few years ago on an amazing mountain west trip.

The other is my old race Vespa at GIR here in St. Louis a few years back.

Looking for a decent pic of my NSR250 MC21...

NICE SV!!!

My first bike was a SV and I LOVED it. Ripped on the track too. The front end made the bike light years better. Never let that bike go!

You'll be able to spot my mods:

Very new to motorbikes and started with a Ducati Monster 696. Stock, no mods. Was a blast, but wanted a bit more kick in the pants.

Then have moved to this a M1100 EVO and it is a blast. Changed the exhaust, mirrors, tails tidy, brake levers (not shown) added a new crankcase cover (my new gang) and will sort out a integrated tail light, some reservoir canisters, and a few other little bits.

I love that 1100 Monster. I had a 2001 900Sie that looked very cool but I found it a bit tight in the leg department even tough I'm only 6'0".

My CRF250X and my sons CRF50. Mine is street legalized, which was a bit of work and extra expense but worth it. Its nice to be able to ride on the road legally. I don't ride nearly as much as I used to though and definitely not as fast. Most of the time I ride on some land my parents own or go to a local MX track.
I have been mostly a Honda guy since my Dad bought me an SL-70 in 1972, but there may be a new KTM 2 stroke in my future.
