That said, once the tire is seated and you break part of the bead, I think it should reseat easily. At least, that happened to me last time, and I didn't have to use my tubeless canister.

I use Silca sealant, which cannot be injected through any valve. I pop the bead to refill with sealant as necessary. I haven’t tried to use the replenisher fluid and don’t know id it can be injected through a valve.

I've been using orange seal for over 4 years with regular valves and had few problems other than tossing a few cheap valve cores. Still only one puncture that required a little CO2 to get going again. Just using my air compressor for annual lawn sprinkler blowouts has more than paid for my air compressor, but it's first use was painting the hotrod that I no longer own. I'm converting a former mother in law kitchen into a bathroom. Blowing sheetrock dust off me is valuable.

I do have to say that new Muc Off does look like an excellent design overall.

I actually like that it has the side effect of what looks to be zero pressure loss when you remove the pump since it has an external close.

It will be interesting if you can still have sealant splash up and cover the cylinder when you're riding and then still gum up the mechanism, but it looks like it can be taken apart and cleaned.

$50 is still a lot, maybe it'd be worth it when setting up some new high-zoot wheels.

Just a reminder that many folks here are running matching peaty and muc off style valves that cost nearly the same.

The cost argument is pretty low IMO. I’ve broken one reserve valve but otherwise have been trouble free for multiple years.

Incremental gains add up and this is one of them.
