Some carbon frames will accept a full length frame pump mounted parallel to the chainstays. This is the case with Calfee frames. A good bike shop will let you try pumps to see if there's a fit.

Under top tube mounts often work if you add a Velcro strap around the top tube.

I wouldn't it as a primary flat fixing device, but as a "I need to get home and I'm out of CO2" pump, it would probably work well enough.

I have the slightly larger RH NUDA pump. It's adequate. You are welcome to have it for the cost of shipping.

I prefer the Lezyne HV series pumps. The bottle bracket also works fine.

OP, I'm pretty sure that somewhere in my great hall of disused bike parts I have one of those things that mounts underneath a bottle cage and holds two CO2 cartridges, and also maybe such a thing designed to hold a (Lezyne) mini pump. If either or both of these are of interest you are welcome to them, I'd just ask that you cover the couple of bucks to ship them to you.

And if the OP demurs, others are welcome to claim one or both, FCFS.

I’m going to look into that Castelli “XL”. The idea of strapping a mini pump to the outside is intriguing.

my silca tattico does not rattle even on gravel roads..it can pump up a 700x32 to a pressure that passes the thumb test in like a 100 strokes and can pump up a rene hersey rat trap pass ie 26x2.1 in like 150 strokes. they are easy strokes too not any effort involved. on my bike it blends in colorwise. it is metal so I bet a person could paint it to match.

I have this and have lost a pump when it fell out of that external pump holder.

Now I have a Lezyne Pocket Drive and it fits inside the saddle bag and has proven reliable, if not the fastest way to inflate a tire.

I carry an extra CO2 as a back up to my CO2....

I did pick up a Silca Tattico last Spring, but never got around to mounting it.....but it is very well made and solid.
