I'm almost in this camp, but I dropped mine at the local library while out running errands … in one of our EVs so y'all are only a little better citizens of the planet than I

After dropping off our ballots, I “happened to pass” a local French bakery that still had pastries on the shelves. It was a good use of the emergency cash I keep in my toolkit.

Vote Pedro!

Vote for candidates that support infrastructure. Especially bike lanes!

Son decided he would same day register today and vote, his first election, Yeah.

I switched to mail in voting years ago when my commute got so long I could not really count on being able to voting in person. Sigh...

We had always taken the kids with us to vote, which seems a much better example than watching (or not) ballots being filled out at the dining room table.

Will retire in a few years and look forward to riding my bike to do most things including voting.

My wife and I walked 1.2 miles to and from our local polling station for early voting.

I wore my dress shoes, and my lower leg muscles were sore for three days afterwards.

I rode my bike as well a little after 0900. About one mile up the road. In and out in five minutes. I've biked my vote the last several cycles.

Washington state was an early adopter of early mail in voting. My wife and I fill out our ballots at home and I deliver them to the drop off box at our local fire department via bicycle about a quarter mile from our home. When I lived and worked in Seattle 20 plus years ago, I would commute to the office by bicycle. I would stop at my neighborhood school polling station to vote in person. This was prior to mail in voting.
It's much easier to deliver the ballots to the fire station by bicycle because the parking lot is not a drive through setup. It's a pain to get in and out when delivering your ballot via an automobile.

I've done that walk before in my sneakers. I think the extra heft of dress shoes (and a downhill section) may have contributed to soreness.

I'd imagine if I tried to run that section instead, I'd be looking at a week of DOMS.

Lazy arse sob here. I voted absentee ballot a couple of weeks ago, but drove (ahem...) to the drop box that was on-site at the county election office. Didn't trust Mr. DeJoy.....

Mrs Cakes and I walked to the polling location about 2:00 PM. No line at all, we were #’s 510 & 511 to vote today

On the one hand, it must be nice to live in a place where you know that your vote is going to meaningfully impact the (edit: national) outcome; on the other hand, experiencing a full court press from both campaigns might wear thin after a little while.

I rode my city bike to vote a couple of weeks ago but took the Stars and Stripes down to the polls today to help out.
