Shimergo in 2016? 11 speed Campy w/ 9 sp Shimano

^^^
Regarding 2016 11+ shifters, is the cable pull the same as first generation 11spd shifters? If so, they would work for a Shimergo 11/9 setup.

I've used first gen 11spd campy shifters with Shimano 9 speed seemlessly. How about this new stuff?

And a Shimano 9 speed rear derailleur, too. It most likely wouldn't work with a Campagnolo 11 speed rear derailleur.

Reporting back...
I tried 2016 chorus shifters with a 9 speed Shimano drivetrain ('09 XT long cage rear derailleur, 11-32 XT cassette).
It worked... Kinda barely.. not really.

I swapped them with some first gen chorus 11speed shifters. Wa-la. Works as the they should.

So I don't know what the cable pull of 2015+ Campy shifters are but I would not recommend them for Shimergo applications at this point.

why not just use a potenza mid cage with a shimano 105 32T cassette?

get 2 extra gears and great shifting but without spending that much (105 cassette cheap and potenza RD is not too expensive either)

Potenza = power shift
And I'm guessing you're suggesting an 11 speed cassette which would require an 11 speed hub. Yeah?

oh yeah, I guess its more of an upgrade if you have tons of 8/9/10 wheels.

Potenza shifters are power shift but the RD works fine with chorus/record/super record shifters. That said, wheel upgrades can get expensive.
