Shimergo in 2016? 11 speed Campy w/ 9 sp Shimano
^^^
Regarding 2016 11+ shifters, is the cable pull the same as first generation 11spd shifters? If so, they would work for a Shimergo 11/9 setup. I've used first gen 11spd campy shifters with Shimano 9 speed seemlessly. How about this new stuff? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And a Shimano 9 speed rear derailleur, too. It most likely wouldn't work with a Campagnolo 11 speed rear derailleur.

Reporting back...
I tried 2016 chorus shifters with a 9 speed Shimano drivetrain ('09 XT long cage rear derailleur, 11-32 XT cassette). It worked... Kinda barely.. not really. I swapped them with some first gen chorus 11speed shifters. Wa-la. Works as the they should. So I don't know what the cable pull of 2015+ Campy shifters are but I would not recommend them for Shimergo applications at this point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

why not just use a potenza mid cage with a shimano 105 32T cassette?
get 2 extra gears and great shifting but without spending that much (105 cassette cheap and potenza RD is not too expensive either) |

Potenza = power shift And I'm guessing you're suggesting an 11 speed cassette which would require an 11 speed hub. Yeah? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Potenza shifters are power shift but the RD works fine with chorus/record/super record shifters. That said, wheel upgrades can get expensive. |
