I can only hope that is not the case. A recent Mercian FB post (I think within the past 30 days) stated that they not are not repairing tubes on frames due to a full book of new frame orders.

I only found one thread on the UK Cycling forum dated May 17, 2024, which was not very helpful. I could not find any other information.

But only time will tell.

Yeah, their IG said they are so full with orders they won't repair tubes right now, but will braze on modifications.

I just learned from the FB Mercian Cycles group page that the rumor may very well be true. So sad. I will cherish mine as as long as I’m able to ride.

Wow, I was just going to ask what price was paid for this beauty with a 12 week wait.
