After a puncture sealed using Orange Seal Regular all the sealant came off the frame in a warm shower, the latex came off in rubbery strings I pulled off with just my fingers.

You might try this https://silca.cc/products/ultimate-s...rE6NbfPLBpbro5

Didn't work on lycra but may work on a frame.

The answer is almost always to start with isopropyl alcohol.

It's cheap (like ridiculously cheap compared to anything marketed as a cycling cleaner), it almost always works, and it doesn't hurt the types of finishes on bicycles, it's not particularly harmful to the mechanic, and it doesn't require any particular cleanup or recycling.

Alcohol is a solvent for latex & grease but not for just about anything that's actually on a bike.

Acetone is the next step up but it is way more likely to wreck finish as a major component of paint thinner. If you have a bare Ti frame you can go nuts with Acetone as long as you don't get it on decals.

Home Depot Cleaning Wipes. The ones the package indicates are good for automotive and home cleaning.

I got some sealant on my frame from topping off the back wheel and then spinning it, not noticing the sealant that had leaked out on the opposite side. I buy alcohol wipes that pull out like a baby wipe. I keep them on my bench to do cleanups and in case I need to retape a tubeless rim. Alcohol will remove old tape reside and oils from your fingers so the tape will stick.

Sealant removal

3M Adhesive remover should be in everybody's shop. I learned this from a car dealer detail guy many years ago. Not the spray, just the quart can. Squirt a little on a paper towel and rub it off. Does not hurt any painted surfaces that I have seen in many years.

For latex, it SHOULD come off with some dish soap and a microfiber cloth and elbow grease.

Dish soap, hot water, and elbow grease took out most of it. There are still some areas that are going to require more work, such as the around the bottom bracket.

toothbrush and the same as above, but, be gentle as gum-bristles (dont know their correct name) can leave tiny marks.

Don’t use solvents on anything painted or carbon. Degreaser is probably ok.

So much less work to just change a tube.

I once had all my bikes set up tubeless with sealant.

Now I have none.

I immediately wiped them off with isopropyl alcohol to remove any Goo Gone residue. I wasn't really worried, but you never know.

You'd think latex based would mean it could remix/soften with water. However it might take time. Perhaps wrapping the area with an absorbent towel, soaking this towel and keeping it wet, and letting it sit this way for a couple hours or so?
