Me too. I haven’t noticed mine rubbing the fork but will double check tomorrow as I’m planning to drive to ride. I’m a rim brake guy though so might be apples to oranges but I’ll try to remember to get a pic.

This is an Amazon option I came across thateets my minimum wants. It's only $330, which is obviously intriguing. Seems like an interesting design, but I'm guessing this is inexpensive for a reason.

This. You can rebuild it if there is ever any issue. I got rear ended the rack took the brunt of the damage. But was easily able to rebuild by buying some of the parts. They are expensive but I have not found anything better. To me, there is no other choice.

Like I said, I have had some of the cheaper racks and now have a 1up.
My only regret about the 1up is not buying it first.
Those cheap racks are cheap for a reason, they look good on paper but are junk, the parts don't fit together right, they will rust out in year or two ask me how I know.... LOL
Not saying you need a 1up, but buy a known brand, Kuat, Rocky Mounts, even another Thule, they are well worth the premium you pay.

An old co-worker sold me his Raxster rack about 5-6 years ago. I'm guessing it's about 8 years old now. This rack works great and is so simple, pretty sure it will last forever. I've replaced two of the velcro straps once ($16), but otherwise it hasn't need anything. I've hauled everything from road, gravel, mtb, beach cruisers and even 20" wheel kids bikes on it.

1up is hard to beat. my daughter and son in-law each have one that they never take off and they have had them for years and they have been down every rough road in the west hauling heavy bikes. I have one that I swap back and forth between my rigs I have the 1.25 receiver and use it with the 2" adaptor and it is rock solid. not the cheapest but in the long run they are worth it. recently I was visiting a friend and he had the Kuat and it was not nearly as stable holding the bikes.

I additional feature of the 1up is the ability to add and take off additional trays. It takes about 5 minutes and has been great for when we go on vacation and want to haul extra bikes.

I crashed the bike, in a 1up rooftop rack, into a low hanging branch two weeks ago taking my son to college. The bike was almost sideways on the roof. $26 part from 1Up, new rear wheel, and back on the road. YMMV.

My Thule rack was nice but just get the 1Up. It’s worth it.

I went from a Kuat NV to 1Up. No regrets, although I miss the integrated lock.

The only rack I’d replace the 1Up is a Kuat Piston Pro. They’re so nice (and very expensive).

I use the Thule Helium Platform rack that "borrows" design features from the 1UP. It is a lightweight rack contrary to Thule ad copy.

It handles the carbon wonder road bikes just fine but I do carry my two Rivendells and I am less confident and would prefer a Kuat Piston Pro. No data points to back that up, just a feeling.

I like my heavy duty 1 UP for 2 bikes with one add on. A big deal for me is how easily it folds up and stores in its box in corner of garage, or how easy it folds up and fits in trunk of car.
