Found all kids of specs on it on the King website except the weight.
I guess if you're running King, weight is probably the last thing on your mind like their overweight hubs and headsets.

How that factors with the cost?

Anybody hazard to guess why the barrel is pinned, maybe stops any creaking when tightening?

I had a Thomson on my Zanconato but couldn’t ever really get it tight enough to prevent seatpost slippage. The 3 or 4 mm bolts aren’t enough. Eventually I replaced it with a cheap one from Amazon that isn’t attractive but does the job.

This one actually looks pretty attractive, especially if it were available with the Sotto Voce graphic.

Keeps it sitting straight/level for the bolt to screw into.

It looks very Salsa like. This is a good thing because I really like the Salsa design and they work well.

The price is not too bad either. A little high maybe, but not crazy like I might have expected from King.
