Lexi, our 2 year old Golden is a superb lap dog and a great XC ski companion.
She thinks it's too hot out once it gets above 50F. That is, unless we are at the lake. I really hope I get to come back as a Golden Retriever in my next life. |

Good thread. Even though we had a tough week, Everyone here loves dogs and always will. Our terriers have always brought us smiles, laughs and comedy.
Here's Mileva (named after einstein's first wife), we call her Millie!

So many good boys and girls!
I find it so wonderful that we all have these animals living with us who bring us so much joy. Also, can confirm that @CGolvin's Bea is as big as she looks. |

Annie and Eric
Two pound puppies. Eric is an 11 year old malti-poo. Annie is anyone's guess because she was living free in coyote country and got to the pound as an emaciated tangled flea-infested mess. Maltese and More Rescue got her shaved, de-fleaed, spayed and pulled her remaining baby teeth before her foster mom brought her to the dog park where she charmed Eric and me. She was so ugly Leslie and I thought she was like the old blind-date story: "She's not much to look at but she has a great personality." We had no idea that when she went from 8 to 13 pounds and grew some fur that she would be a prom queen with a lovely personality.

We have a cat that begs for lettuce and greens. Darker the better. He'll do brussel sprouts, but not broccoli. |

New Puppy
She found the cat's bed shortly after coming home with us at 10 weeks and 10.5 pounds. A month later she weighs 22.5 pounds. Maybe some Lab, but all dog.

She actually ate two heads of broccoli. My boy loves fruits and pretty much any vegetable, even begging for them. I've had dogs eat banana peels too.

. No grapes, raisins, avocado's or onions!!! (poison). Maybe the banana peel myth works for dogs?

The one on the left is a bike-dog in training. She has learned to mostly stay out of the way of the bike. The first is from a morning walk this past winter and the second, from this spring.
