I was pissed at Shimano until I found their $5 insert that works with the old tool. I don’t mind spending $5.

I drew the line at press fit on my most recent acquisition. In fact I had my trusted lbs guy do the entire build-bb removal and install, running internal cables, bleeding brakes, While I sort of "enjoy" (not the right word) wrenching on bikes it was so nice to have someone else do this build.

Yeah, and it is made out of plastic

I have one of these on order, I hope this will cover them all.
