Monday grump: I need ANOTHER BB tool??

I was pissed at Shimano until I found their $5 insert that works with the old tool. I don’t mind spending $5.

I drew the line at press fit on my most recent acquisition. In fact I had my trusted lbs guy do the entire build-bb removal and install, running internal cables, bleeding brakes, While I sort of "enjoy" (not the right word) wrenching on bikes it was so nice to have someone else do this build.

Same for me with the BB-R8100, which I was told requires yet another tool, i.e. even Dura-Ace and Ultegra from the same vintage are different.
