That's quite lovely. Nicely done, and good to see your vison realized.

Amazing looking bike. It’s very obvious that the skill level of the builder is incredibly high. I love the attention to detail with your selected options.
I’m also surprised that you went with rim brake for a new current build, but love it.

Very nice; I had one done by them a few years ago. XCr MAX tubing. Rides stiff and smooth. They are sleeper builders. They build for the public as well as some companies (Cinelli, if I am not mistaken. Not sure if that's changed in the past few years).

Hope you got the headtube badge, it's top notch.

Interesting re: Cinelli. My CInelli Nemo (not built up yet) exhibits excellent Tig welding.
"Purple Haze".
There is a photo of the headbadge on the OP's bike.

Fantastic! Beautiful build and great photos - Cicli Barco are top-notch.

(The seat stays look like they've been brazed on, not welded, but no biggie...)

Not the best photo, but here’s mine below. I will take a better one once I bring the bike back outside; lots of snow here.

Not sure of their Cinelli contract lineup but it’s been said that they do/did some of the Cinelli XCr frames that were ordered. That shop is a hidden gem to folks in the US.

When I first ordered mine, I ordered it raw stainless, no paint. Seatstays were brazed like the above. I opted for a seat post clamp and welded FD mount.

OP, let us know how you like the ride.

Do you have pictures of that bike? I didn't know Columbus ever made an XCr Max tubeset.

I may make a separate thread so focus is not lost here. The frameset is this thread is exceptional. I wlll ping you on the side. There was definitely Max XCr tubing as I had to wait 6+ months in the build process to get a set.

MaXCr!! I think it was a one-off design made for Colossi.

That is a beauty! No hidden cables, no discs and OG geometry...truely a work of art. Long live the "RIM THE RIM BRAKE!"

Congratulations on the gorgeous build!

There’s a gentleman in Italy with a nice set of Campagnolo silver hubs (the ones which will work with 11 speed cassettes) laced to Mavic Open Pros. The price asked is 250 euros + shipping from Italy. Sounds like a good match for this build (shiny silver Record hubs!) and shipping probably wouldn’t be too expensive to Sweden.

Do search for the group “Campagnolo Parts for Sale/Trade” on Facebook. You’ll see a listing from a few days ago if you scroll through or search for the keywords “hubs”, “Campagnolo”, “record”.

I am going to add to the pile here. Really, a very nice build on a lovely frame set. I love the color and the overall classic, understated look. Kudos on the bike and the thread.
