I was able to get a buddy of mine from CO Springs go pickup a mint Marinoni EL for me. Off to a good start this year!

I have been buying too much stuff. Today I received new chain and cassette for the trainer, Castelli Insider bib shorts that did not fit and tomorrow I should get specialized shoes.

I finally got the fit on the SBC 6061 just right. I swapped out the Deda Zero1 cockpit and went with a 3T -17° stem. I swapped on the spare 3T superleggera handlebar since the compact drops on the Deda wasn’t deep enough for my liking. I finished it off with a Cinelli Mike Giant gold bar tape.

For the Lynskey, I ended up buying a Lynskey stem to tie it all in.

A Light Bicycle AR56 disc rim and 24 CX-Ray spokes - to replace the wheel that a pickup truck crashed into, and that absorbed enough of the impact to see me recover in a week. Small price to pay.

Please tell me it wasn’t the robin’s egg blue one.
I’ve been trying to get the owner of that one to sell it to me for years...

haha! I just searched the net for a blue bruce gordon, and I think I know which one you are talking about. It's not that one, but that color is gorgeous.

I got this piece off ebay: http://brucegordoncycles.blogspot.co...ro-future.html

Absolutely thrilled. I never thought I'd find one in my size. I think this is a keeper for me...Still working out the details of shipping with the seller.

nice. those last 5 minutes are always tense.

it looks like you did pretty well on the final price, given the campagnolo that it's coming with. congratulations! cant wait to see it here.
