the car itself is a vintage tamiya kit that i painted to match. the bike is a 1/10 scale jobber from amazon that i also painted to match. the bike rack is made from an erector set.

Late 1980s Eddy Bosomworth Columbus Air road time trial frame, hand built in Rotorua, New Zealand.

Eddy (RIP) built hundreds of frames and at least a few made it to the Olympic and/or Commonwealth Games and Worlds, especially on the track.

My first proper racing bicycle was a Columbus SL/SP road frame in the same metallic red, and after several repaints was replaced by an SLX in red/orange/yellow fade. Good times.

While Eddy built hundreds of frames, dozens of which were in this near-signature metallic red, I doubt half-a-dozen were Columbus Air, and I'd be surprised if another one had the mudguard eyelets/rack mounts presumably specified by whoever commissioned this curiousity.

Confente Lugs

These lugs were designed by master framebuilder Mario Confente, for Medici Cycles.

They were given to me by another master of the craft, Brian Baylis.

I don't know how rare they are, but I've never seen another set.

These aren't identical, but do show quite the similarity. This is Medici #026

Probably just me, but I can visualize a hand painted Superman Logo in what looks to be the shield on those lugs.

Obscure Bike in Fleet

Cincinnati Coach Works Boneshaker, ~ 1869 vintage
Features recently patented Miller & Ellis fender, leaf spring suspension, foot pegs out front for coasting, cable actuated brake shoe.
Bikes like these were the reason John Dunlap developed the pneumatic tire.

^ That's pretty cool. The connection to the wagon wheel and farmyard equipment is clear.

Forever bike made in Shanghai

This is the second Chinese made bike I have owned---the first---a Flying Pigeon, has the distinction of being the single most mass produced transportation device in world history (15 million and counting).
This Forever bike is in good condition but I have no way of knowing if it is vintage or not because I believe it is still in production.
