11-28 cassette and a new chain. I'm done grinding my way up the climbs in the Santa Monica mountains on a 12-25 and a 53/39. Now here's to hoping that the cassette will play nicely with my short cage rear derailleur...

deFeet knee kneekers are hopeless for me. I like Castelli's knee warmers. Grip like iron.

Scored this Wound-Up on Ebay which I plan to use on my Serotta Fierte, I love how these forks ride and figured it was a close enough match to the Serotta to take a chance and get it.
To go on this Serotta: Well the color of the fork is not what I thought it was going to be but after riding around with it for a couple of days the contrast against frame has grown on me but the ride is everything and more of what a Wound Up brings. I feel more confident taking high speed curves than I did with the Kestrel EMS Pro. Last edited by bobswire; 02-13-2014 at 09:54 PM. |

I have the original Ibex Breakaway and it's the best jacket I've ever had. Only complaint I can think of is that it's a little loose fitting, but I'm a pretty skinny guy, so most jackets are typically a bit big.
EDIT: Also the zipper sometimes comes undone.... |

Abbey Bike Tools chainwhip and cassette tool, Castelli and Rapha bibs on sale (both really nice!), and a LBS team jersey (Drummonds in Enfield, NH).
Does a new tennis racket count? |

I need to hook up with a group this year. Any advice/comments on Bike Hub, Drummond's or Mason Racing? I go to Drummond's for all my cycling needs, but kind of a hassle to get there for a ride.

^^ Bike Hub on Wednesday nights. Lots of riders, several groups. Can start w/C group and go up from there. Or start w/B group if you know your way home Just give yourself some space behind the wheel in front of you. And be ready to go hard. And don't stick your front wheel in the wind - at all. That's what bozos are for.

rollers
TruTrainer Rollers - these things are awesome.
With all the snow we have this year the regular trainer was getting pretty boring. Mixing it up with the rollers has been great. |
