Way out of my typical comfort zone, but Alicia Keys is amazing. My wife had it playing a few days ago and now I am constantly humming the tune of 'If I Ain't Got You'.

The little I know about her is that she is very principled professionally and is a classically trained pianist who matches any R+B singer out there. It seems like her vocal range couldnt get wider, and it does.

A co-worker recently had the chance to meet her via a business meeting. Says she’s delightful to talk with in addition to all of the talent.

Getting back to cover songs, this is what happened when Metallica asked The Warning (you haven't heard of them, but you will) to cover Enter Sandman...

Have y'all heard Metallica's cover of Elton John's "Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding"? I was pleasantly surprised...

Listening to Robert Plant - Raise the Roof right now. Allison Krauss is absolutely incredible on the track The Price of Love.
