Yes, and they have songs that can be taken as love songs. How un-punk.

Warmer, I guess you could say that. You can play a song much louder and it's still pretty clear. Jon Lord's organ/keyboards (Knocking at Your Back Door, Burn etc.) through one, very loud is quite a treat, imo.
Thanks. I don't follow news about stereo equipment like I used to. But, I remember when companies were switching from tubed to digital, a lot of folks (who seemed to know what they were talking about) preferred tubed equipment. A lot of guitar players these days, also want tubed amps. (Speakers also make a difference.)

These days, for me as a listener, I think what is playing (the music) is more important than the equipment it is played on.

Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris. Dig it, but can't make it stop.

The speakers had 1,000 watts amplifiers each built directly into the speakers. The sound was controlled with an external preamp. He controlled the whole show with his iPad.

Obviously they sounded great. It was like being in the front row of Mark Knopfler and Emily Lou Harris, only with better sound.

its not very "off-topic" but i ordered a chinese carbon frame late last week and its all I've been thinking about. I've always ridden used/second hand/ hand-me-down ···· so the prospect of a brand spanking new, unridden, unassembled frame has got me absolute AMPED. it will be built up with my used 9sp 105 and spares but regardless, I'm real excited.
