a 12mm MFT camera lens to let me shoot my pedal stroke class in my basement. Not cheap, but a lot less expensive than a larger basement...
I don't actually buy bike stuff. I've worked in the bike industry for almost 30 years, yet I'm more than happy to ride the same thing I rode last year - I have this theory about working on the rider, not the bike. As of late something strange has been happening. Bike companies are getting sick of seeing me on the same old crap, instead of using their stuff. There's no chance I'll just buy their stuff, so they give it to me. What's a Garmin and what do I do with it???

However I have bought recently: Garmin 810, Front Rack (for multi day tours/bike camping), Tent, Sleep Pad, Sleeping bag (hey it is for Bike touring) new helmet, e motion rollers, blackburn trainer (i know 2 trainers but there are reasons, they're different right?!), 5 jerseys (cuz I'm a girl and we're all about clothes and pretty colors) oh yeah, and a $20 RUSA membership!

2 sets of Defeet arm warmers in my size. Loaned mine to a friend who was having trouble finding arm warmers and then .. silly me, told them to keep them thinking they'd be easy to replace.
Tried assos, tried rapha.. but none seem as comfy or as versatile as the Defeets. Also bought their UnD shirt too cuz I really like the one I bought just for kicks. Now... to find some good knee warmers. Same story. Tried Assos. Tried Ibex.. none fit quite as well as the cheap Volers I bought at a race team close out. |

New tires for my Ritchey Timbercomp. The Specialized Crossroads II's on the bike at present came off another MTB ridden 1,500 miles thru the Rockies in 1987. Still have tread but sidewalls looking a little dusty/crusty.
Did I jump the gun? |

Was just going to look into Voler since I liked them or maybe I'll go to Boure since their stuff seems good quality with a good price. Sometimes it's just annoying how much bike stuff is just "try and see." |
