* what's in your stable? Currently built: Zanconato cross bike, Voodoo Erzuli rigid mtb, Bianchi BUSS ss, Raleigh Technium fixed, Schwinn Mirada another ss mtb, Lynskey/Performance Ti road bike, Diamondback Apex tourer, Trek 7000 for errands, and a Shogun Selectra for ugly road work.
* fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? It's been years since I used a speedometer, but I vaguely remember hitting 60mph behind someone much bigger than I am.
* how many miles ON THE ROAD on a road bike last year? Again, no accurate data, but I'd guess around 8,000.

Sean, being a student must pay better than it did when I was in school. Nice bikes. Does the government realize that you are spending your student loans on 10K bikes

They're bikes from when I raced as a Junior. I'd like to think I was good enough to earn the equipment, so no student loans. As far as the new stuff goes, I have to thank the companies for that
